Doha, Qatar – National Mobile Telecommunications Company (Ooredoo) has reported a net profit of QAR 1.94 billion attributable to its shareholders for the first half (H1) of 2025, marking a 4% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to QAR 1.87 billion in the same period last year.
The company’s total revenues also witnessed a modest uptick, rising by 1% to QAR 11.91 billion in H1 2025 from QAR 11.79 billion in H1 2024.
Earnings per share (EPS) increased by 5% to QAR 0.61 at the end of June 2025, up from QAR 0.58 a year earlier.
Q2 2025 Performance
During the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, Ooredoo recorded a net profit of QAR 988 million, reflecting a 3% growth from QAR 959 million in Q2 2024. EPS for the quarter edged up to QAR 0.31 from QAR 0.30 year-on-year.
Revenues for the quarter reached QAR 6.06 billion, up 2% from QAR 5.93 billion in the prior-year quarter.
Q1 2025 Snapshot
In the first three months (Q1) of 2025, Ooredoo posted a net profit of QAR 960 million attributable to the owners, showing a 5% YoY increase from QAR 913 million in Q1 2024.
The company continues to deliver consistent financial performance, reflecting its robust operational strategy and steady market demand across its business segments.
